One real-life story involved a Malaysian tourist, Lee Yvonne, who was almost swept away by a wave while bathing in this pool. She was hit by rocks and had to receive eight stitches due to the incident. This experience serves as an important reminder for tourists to always stay alert, do prior research, and have travel insurance.
Apart from Lee, several similar incidents have even resulted in tourists being swept away by waves and losing their lives.

Angel's Billabong is naturally formed from a dead-end river estuary, causing seawater to be trapped and create a clear pool with bluish-green gradients, resembling a natural infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. Swimming: Recommended only when the sea is low and the waves are calm, as the pool is directly adjacent to the open sea.

Location and Access
Located in Sakti Village, northwest Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali, visitors can cross from Sanur or Padang Bai to Nusa Penida using a fast boat, then continue by land for about 25–30 minutes using a rented vehicle.
There is no entrance fee, only a parking fee of around IDR 5,000 for motorcycles and IDR 10,000 for cars.
